About John Arnett, PT

From an early age, I’ve been fascinated by the intricacies of the human body. I vividly remember choosing the body’s organs, vascular system, and musculoskeletal structure as my research topic in third grade—it was my first taste of the “Ah, that makes sense” moments that come with understanding science. This passion led me to a career in physical therapy, specializing in managing and relieving back pain.

After completing my Master’s degree in Physical Therapy with distinction at the Haute École Léonard de Vinci in 2020, I decided to focus on lower back pain, an area that affects so many but is often misunderstood. My journey has been shaped by continuous learning and the desire to empower others with the knowledge and tools to take control of their own well-being.

I’ve pursued various advanced trainings, including:

  •  Clinical examination, differential diagnosis, and treatment for acute and recurring lower back pain (Cyriax model).
  •  Mulligan manual therapy concept for the upper quadrant.
  •  Musculoskeletal treatment of the pelvic girdle around pregnancy.
  •  Dry needling techniques with the David G Simons Academy.

For several years, I worked at Woluwe Kine, a private clinic in Brussels, where I collaborated with other physiotherapists. Recently, I launched my own clinic under the Postureplan name, where I continue to work providing hands-on care to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal issues. My clinic not only allows me to apply my expertise in physical therapy but also serves as the foundation for my online initiatives.

What drives me is the opportunity to help people regain their strength, mobility, and confidence. I believe in the body’s remarkable potential to heal, given the right support and guidance. Whether it’s through hands-on therapy at my clinic or my online programs like the Spine Support Network, my goal is to provide accessible, practical strategies that empower you to overcome pain and improve your quality of life.

I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with you, not just as a therapist, but as someone who has experienced and conquered chronic back pain myself. Join me on this journey to better spinal health, and let’s unlock your body’s potential together.
